What is outer space?
OUTER SPACE is designed to be an outdoor food & beverage courtyard on a day to day basis, with live music events throughout the summer. We will offer quick-service dining and a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by Saranac Brewery. We plan to open early July. We are located at 3022 NY-28 in Old Forge, in the rear of our retail building.
Is outer space kid friendly?
Yes! OUTER SPACE’s large outdoor courtyard is equipped with lawn games & a sandbox. We also offer a children’s menu. All Saranac Thursdays shows are 18+. All Ages shows will be designated as such.
Do I need a ticket/how do i get tickets?
Tickets are required for all events, including free shows. All tickets are available through TicketWeb at the time of the show announcement. Tickets can be scanned on a mobile phone or printed to be scanned. There will be limited availability to purchase tickets the day of the show, so please purchase in advance (for the best prices as well). Tickets are non-refundable. Please be aware of scammers, as fake accounts posing as individuals with extra tickets are becoming increasingly popular. Is there seating during shows?
There will be limited seating available at the back of the venue with designated areas for personal folding chairs. The majority of the venue will be Standing Room Only.
Are shows rain or shine?
Yes, all shows are rain or shine. Our venue is primarily uncovered. In the likelihood of rain, additional coverage will be supplied. A 30 minute lightning delay will be in place.
Can I bring my own food/drinks into the venue?
No outside food or drinks will be permitted. Exemptions may be made based on dietary needs. Please check with management for any questions.
What will you be serving?
Our menu features gourmet grilled cheeses, salads, flatbread pizzas, and other small snack foods. Items will be packaged for on-site consumption or conveniently designed to go. We will feature canned Saranac products including beers, seltzers & wines, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic drinks.
Do you take cash?
We accept cash and all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay/Tap to Pay. We do not offer gift cards.
